Accessing Ontario's Health Services Workshop

Yesterday we had a workshop about Ontario's health services with Anna and Armine. Through the workshop we learned many information about family doctors, walk-in clinics, emergency ambulance and so on.
  1. How to find a family doctor? Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons Website www.cpso.on.ca.
  2. Ontario residents with a valid health card are responsible for an "ambulance service" co-payment of $45.00. Ontario residents who do not have a valid health card & visitors are responsible for an "ambulance service" charge of $240.00.
  3. Our health care options include: walk-in clinics, urgent care centres,emergency rooms, family care providers and community health centres.
  4. If you have a life-threatening medical emergency, go to a hospital emergency room or call 911 immediately.
